Best poems of Harivansh Rai Bachan

Harivansh Rai Bachchan and his works are immortal. So here we are back with an another poem.

I.e 3rd poem of the week.

Today we will present His poem

”Lo Din beeta Lo Raat gayi”

Here we go..

The day passed, the night went,
The day passed, the night went,
And the sun went off to the west,
Set, the dusk came, fall on,
That dusk seemed like a hundred of dusks,
Why did you think while waking up,
Something new will happen this day.
The day passed, the night went.

Slowly slowly the stars emerged,
Slowly slowly blazed in the sky,
That night seemed like a hundred of nights,
Why did you think in the evening,
Something new will happen this night,
The day passed, the night went.

The birds chirped, buds wafted,
And again the sun rose through the east,
The dawn arrived as came before,
Why did you think while sleeping,
Something new will happen this morning,
The day passed, the night went.

It's not just about one person because both of us have thought to try our luck in this field.. Both of us are students. Though from different streams, we are here to present ourselves together with our stuffs and learn through good and bad experiences (which can definitely not demoralize us).
